Thank you for your interest in our survey.
We are strongly committed to your privacy and confidentiality whilst completing our surveys. Below we outline just how we aim to deliver upon that promise.
TNS Australia is an independent market research company, with HQ in London and local offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth & Canberra. We are members of local market research societies as well as Esomar (www.esomar.org)
You always remain in control of the information with which you kindly provide us in our surveys. The information you give us is used only at an aggregate level (eg combined to say 45% of those who completed the survey think this, 21% of those who completed the survey think that). As such, the results you give are in no way traceable to you now or in the future. Participation is always voluntary. All information provided is treated with care and respect. We will not mislead you in any way.
From time to time, we do store data from our surveys on databases. This data is accessible by limited staff in our organization, usually for analysis and quality control purposes. Once again this will be held in aggregate format. It will be held securely only by TNS Australia.
TNS Australia may ask you to provide personal contact information for follow-up contacts under different circumstances such as focus group or face-to-face interview. As a result of taking part in the survey, we will not attempt to trade, sell or share your information with any other party. The results will only be made available in aggregate form to the client whom has commissioned the research through TNS Australia.
Having completed a survey, you do have the full right to withdraw that information at any point. If this is the case please contact the address given for TNS Australia on your invitation.
In providing us with information through our surveys, we are bound to inform you that this will cost you the price of Internet time through your Internet Service Provider or Telecommunications company. This is typically the cost of a local phone call for the duration of the survey. Sometimes we do perform 'invisible processing' in our surveys. This is limited to the collection of browser type and IP address, which is used for survey suitability.
Occasionally we may use Cookies in our surveys. The use of these is limited only to allow a better respondent experience, such as the functionality of quitting the survey and coming back to the point at which you left off. Cookies are controlled at the user end, that is, on your computer. You have full control over whether to accept cookies or not.
We do not interview children under the age of 14 without prior permission of their parents. Permission is normally sourced through e-mail or telephone opt-in.
The information collected is stored in a robust, secure manner. All data is collected and transferred via the Internet in the most secure fashion possible.
You can choose to be contacted or not in the future. As a member of EmailCash, you have been invited entirely at random to take part in this survey. You may be invited again in the future for surveys similar to this one. If you do not wish to be contacted, please inform EmailCash and they will arrange for your details to be withdrawn from those which we have access to.
If you do have any concerns or questions about this survey, or panel membership, please contact us through the address provided on the www.emailcash.com.au website.
TNS Australia once again thanks you for your interest and time to participate in this survey.
